WHAT WE SEE WE DO

Pornography is a common habit among many. Just check a 17 year old's phone and you would see what I mean. In a typical porn movie, the ladies a raped, abused and used. They are valueless. Note that usually cameras don't focus on the men. They focus on the women. Their tears. Their cry for help. Their plea for mercy. That is what the average guy sees. He believes sex should be just like that.

 

But that is the movies. Some editing is done, you know. And those ladies are on drugs. Heavy drugs. Under that influence they can do practically anything.

 

In real life, it does not work like that. Sex to a woman is emotional. She prefers to make love. She can't go through that hammering. And if that happens, she feels like the movies. She feels used.

 

When men keep watching that stuff, they do it. They do it with their girl friends. They do it their wives. What we see we do. We move because we see. Pictures are powerful. Moving pictures are more powerful.

 

Can we handle the issue of rape? Of  course. Let us go back to the roots. Let us isolate it. If we can help young men see the damaging effects of pornography we can save our ladies. Men become beast because of pornography. But we can try. Let us help them break the habit. It is a difficult process. But it is possible.

 

As I life coach, I support what Treasure Kalu is advocating. Women deserve love and dignity. They deserve respect from us men. The truth is that if we can tackle the issue of pornography, just may be, we could solve the issue of rape. It is not a certainty. But a good start.

Jews are everywhere, and are very successful too.The question is what is their secret? I would tell you a few.

1. A typical Jewish boy is made to detest working for anybody.They believe in entrepreneurship.After their experience with Egyptians they vowed never to work for any one other than themselves.Abraham their father was an entrepreneur.Isaac too was.When Jacob worked for someone, he was cheated; and he learnt his lesson.

2. If a Jew will ever work, it would be with his own brother as an apprentice with a promise to empower him after 7 years, just like our ibo brothers do.Actually they copied that pattern from the Jews.That is how they raise their initial cash .

3.If a Jew comes to a new area, he can start with anything.They are taught to start small and grow big.A typical Jew can sell his neighbours second hand clothes as a start up than work for someone else.

4.Our Yoruba brothers perhaps copy this one from them.They believe in a cooperative system.They contribute money for themselves.They have a strong saving culture. Once you have grown to a certain level, your Jewish richer brothers support you with cash because you have been saving with them or are part of their 'osusu' club.

5.Jews are very religious people. They contribute to their synagogue regularly,especially a portion of their income.They believe that their best ideas comes from doing just that.They also believe that by serving Yaweh favour will be granted them and this favour can grant any money they need.

Barter.In the old days, money as we know it today was EXCHANGED through trade by barter.If you wanted beans and I wanted a horse and you had the horse and I had the beans you sought, an exchange could occur.This kind of monetary system was clumsy and had its challenges.However, this system can still work today.You can exchange your talent, skill, information, contacts for the resources that you need for your business.

Just look out for people who require your information or contacts or skills in EXCHANGE for the resources you need.

The simplest way to raise money is to sell something.It could anything.

First look around you. What liabilities do you have around you? What is a liability? Robert Kiyosaki says: "A liability is anything you have that takes money away from you or has high maintenance value"

Your big sound system, television, on and off vehicle, designer dresses, numerous phones, could be liabilities. Sell them off. Most people who say they don't have money have a lot of liabilities around them. Women have unnecessary trinkets, jewelries, shoes, clothes they can dispose of to raise cash.

EXCHANGE YOUR ASSETS. An asset is anything you have that can bring money to you or has high value.What do you have around you? Perhaps it is your specialized skill, certificate, shares certificate, landed property, information, talent.Exchange it.
